Advalus is a well established and successful niche consultancy that was formed in 2003 to provide a credible option for clients needing a little more than arms length advice. The firm offers practical guidance from experienced and well qualified professionals. Our advisers have built upon their post grad business qualifications with sustained senior management experience of both organisational change and key projects. Typically our advisers have worked with the major consultancies and blue chip clients prior to joining the firm. Likewise Advalus clients are looking for advisers who can bring more hands on rigour to each assignment.

   
Advalus is a specialist adviser to both the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Defence on technical, contractual and financial matters for key supply contracts with the private sector. Typically these contracts are for CIS / ICT technology services but the firm has also advised upon major investment and organisational reform programmes in accommodation, support services, as well as front and back office functions. Our projects can finish at contractual close on a major transaction (eg the feasibility and closure of an outsourcing or private finance contract) but our clients are often looking for mid contract reform and substantive change.     

The foundation of the Advalus relationships within Government has been the operational and financial improvements that its consultants have been able to leverage within public sector programmes involving private sector providers.  In the last 5 years, Advalus has been responsible for leveraging hard cash savings of £I billion as a result of changes that its technical and financial consultants have been able to assess, introduce and execute alongside the client authority’s own project teams.
